• English Malnoïa is a long-time musical and literary plan, created by Pierre Mottron and Xavier Colautti. From its public identity to the content of the compositions, the essence of this work in pairs (Surface of arts) initiated by Pierre Mottron (vocals, compositions, programming) and Xavier Colautti (lyrics) is built on a mutual faith in Music, the narrow way. Pierre Mottron now work alone in Malnoïa. After artistic and degenerate collaborations with B-LogiQ and Abadôn, Malnoïa eventually arose from an irrepressible impulse, in the heart of which you'll share a sincere feeling of anti conformism tinged with misanthropy. Each track's therefore turning into a timeless microcosm where imagination rules supreme. Unique narratives and intricate textures will lead the reader/listener far beyond the group's existential paradox: the link between introversion and extroversion. All in all, Malnoïa is the double analyze, both curious and sensitive but far from being simply visceral of a perfectible world. It is a salutary burden, a personal rejection of standardization. A corrosive desire for creation. A musical and literary quest. Around 2003-2004, Pierre Mottron took his first steps with Miscellaneous (today known as MC de Fumuj) to form the project B-LogiQ (5 albums from 2004 to 2008). In 2005 Pierre produces for increasing numbers of artists from different musical backgrounds (soundtracks for short movies, the creation of Gemini's Behaviour project, the creation of Maquerelle / Abadon in 2006, with 3 albums from 2006 to 2008). In 2006, Pierre met Xavier Colautti, who would go on to become the primary lyricist for “Surface of Arts”. After one year of close collaboration, the Malnoïa project was officially born in June 2007, with the explicit intent of being a uniquely sensitive musical and literary creation. With Xavier providing lyrics, Pierre began crafting the album “Surface of Arts” along with guests such as Hidekazu Wakabayashi, Post-Agnès and Edouard Kuchiman.
imaginaire.
